Safe at Home

Wisconsin’s Address Confidentiality Program

If you are a Wisconsin resident and are a victim of actual or threatened abuse (or live with a victim, such as a child), the state offers a free program to keep your address confidential—and you safe

Safe at Home can be used for victims of domestic abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse, stalking, or trafficking, or anyone else who fears for their physical safety. The program provides you with a legal substitute address to be used for both public and private purposes. Enrollment in Safe at Home allows you to use an assigned address in lieu of your actual address; your mail will be forwarded from the assigned address to your actual addresses completely free of charge.
